The Noir Door is a play compiled of 6 different vignettes, each taking place in the same universe. Through magic, mysticism and science fiction the audience is introduced to 6 short stories that discuss topics such as sexism, racism, colorism and gentrification in a way never seen before.

About the event
Tackling themes of intersectionality and dualism through creativity and a somewhat campy style has made for The Noir Door to be part of the New American Arts Festival. With a cast and crew of over 30 people this production embodies diversity through representation and subject matter.
The Noir Door is part of M3 Literary Productions, a production company lead by Marie Thomas that houses creatives of multiple genders, sexualities, racial identities, disabilities and various socio-economic backgrounds.
“The Noir Door” debuted in April of this year at the Cleo Parker RobinsonTheater. All of its 3 shows were sold making it one of the most successful independent productions in Colorado.
