Come celebrate American Interdependence in a co-produced family-friendly event

Roshni and Control Group Productions – one of Colorado’s premier performance companies – are celebrating their partnership and shared community with their first annual New American 4t h of July: an intercultural community celebration of American Interdependence.

The celebration, for residents of North Aurora and visitors from across the metro area, will take place from 11am - 1pm on Thursday, July 4th, at and around The People’s Building on East Colfax in downtown Aurora. The festivities will commence with a short sidewalk parade of diversity accompanied by a live broadcast and DJed music by KETO FM.

Once back in the building, potluck food and refreshments will be served, followed by Keynote address by the chief guest. For the last hour, local and guest artists will perform, including excerpts from Roshni’s first theatre production of Mountains Made for Us, Colorado’s first intercultural play and Control Group’s soon-to-be released film Solace
